About Best of Bath

Best of Bath is an independent guide to the places worth your time in Bath: where to eat, drink, stay, shop and spend an afternoon.

The centre is small enough to cross on foot in twenty minutes and busy enough that it is easy to end up somewhere ordinary. This guide is here to help you find the good places, from Walcot Street to Widcombe and from Larkhall to Oldfield Park.

Every place we list gets a score out of 10. Scores start from public reviews, and we adjust them for what we find on the place's own pages, such as awards and the care that goes into a menu. A short list of good places is more useful than a long list of every place.

Our scores are never for sale. If a business pays to be featured, the listing is labelled, and it never changes a score or a place in a ranked list.
